Free UK Returns *
For products purchased via www.chapeau.cc that are not the right fit or simply not quite right for you then returns are free for residents living in the UK . All you have to do is fill our online Royal Mail Returns Form, where you can either print the label at home or download a QR code and take to a drop off point, the closest of which are displayed on the webpage. We advise that you get a proof of postage receipt from your drop off point to avoid any delivery problems.
* UK Returns are free of charge if you keep at least one of the items you originally ordered. If you return all items on your order then a restocking fee of £5 will be deducted from the refund amount.
Clothing Returns
If you receive an item of clothing and find that it is damaged or something else is wrong with your order, then we will happily exchange it for another size or colour. If you find that the item isn’t what you expected, then return it within 90 days of receiving it and we will issue a refund.
When returning items of clothing, they need to be returned in an unused and unwashed state, ideally with the tags still attached. Please check that the item is in good condition and fits you before using it.
Faulty Item Returns
As you would expect from a premium brand, Chapeau! is dedicated to making sure you are happy and satisfied with the investment you have made in any of our products. This said, sometimes manufacturing faults can and do occur which will affect your experience of the product. We aren't happy if this happens, so if you ever feel that one of our items is performing below your expectation, please do get in touch with us via any means and we will endeavour to find a solution. Items that are damaged as a result of excessive or long term usage are not considered faulty so to aid in the discussion, it always helps if you can show your purchase date of the item in question. If you continue with the return of an item that has been worn, please make sure it has been through the washing machine first!
Returning Your Product
We’ve tried to make our returns process as easy as possible. Please carry out the following to get started with your return:
- You will find a returns form included with your order, which you will need to fill out.
- Complete the form by telling us which items you are returning, why you’re returning them and whether you want a refund, replacement or an exchange.
- Carefully pack the items you’re returning, along with the returns form.

What To Do If You’ve Lost Your Returns Form
If you can’t find your returns form, then you’ll need to print off the original order and tell us why you’re returning the item. Please complete the following, before sending anything back:
- Log in to your Chapeau! account and find the relevant order.
- Once you have opened the order, click print order in the top right of the order.
- Next you need to detail why you’re returning the item and what you want us to do. Please include with your return, the reason you’re returning your item and if you would like a refund, a replacement or exchange. If you want to exchange it for another size or another item, then please tell us exactly what you’d like us to send you.
- Carefully pack the item you wish to return, along with the order form you’ve printed off and the rest of the return details.

International Returns
Unfortunately we can’t offer free returns for orders outside of the UK . Please choose a preferred delivery company and send the package back to the returns address. Chapeau! will not accept customs charges for returned goods. Please make sure you mark your package with: “Goods Returned Under Warranty”.

3 for 2 Promotion Returns Policy
If the cheapest (the FREE) item is returned then there will be no refund as 3 items need to be purchased to qualify for the deal. If a more expensive item is returned then the difference between that and the cheapest item will be refunded so that the actual price you pay for the two items is correct. The same goes if two items are returned.
